Weighing in a little late due to meeting deadlines, ironing hijabs, getting everyone out of the door on time for the Eid prayers and trying to get decent Eid pics of the kids (that last one did not meet with success; the cat was more cooperative).

Eid mubarak Huda! Did you go downtown? We spent the day there yesterday. Was exhausted afterwards after all the running around. Aboodi enjoyed it though!

Yes, we went downtown but left soon after the prayers. I’m always happy to see that there are so many people at the Eid prayers but I quickly extricate myself from the crowds. The kids wanted to go to the mall (urgh). At least that wasn’t so crowded on a weekday, but there were enough other Muslims around that we managed to get some random salaams going!
